Healthcare
Access to basic healthcare remains severely limited for vulnerable populations across underserved communities in Punjab. Poverty, distance, and social exclusion prevent families from accessing essential medical services, leading to preventable illness, suffering, and death.
SHARE promotes community-centered and inclusive health services through free medical consultations, laboratory testing, first aid training, and psychosocial support. The programme priorities marginalized and at-risk populations, including drug-affected individuals, women, and people with limited mobility. By promoting health-seeking behaviors, preventive care, and equitable access, SHARE contributes to healthier, more stable communities.

Peace-Building
Social tensions, inequality, and limited opportunities — particularly for youth and marginalised groups — can increase the risk of conflict and division in Punjab’s communities. Without spaces for dialogue and mutual understanding, divisions deepen.
SHARE works to strengthen social cohesion, dialogue, and mutual respect through community engagement and conflict-sensitive approaches. The programme empowers young leaders and community stakeholders with leadership skills and civic awareness to become agents of positive change. By promoting inclusive participation and peaceful conflict resolution, SHARE contributes to sustainable peace, safer communities, and long-term stability that supports equitable development.
